# The TypeScript Masterclass

I’ve been working for a long time on this brand new course focused on teaching you [TypeScript](https://flaviocopes.com/typescript/), the language.

It’s based on my [JavaScript](https://flaviocopes.com/javascript/) Masterclass from 2021, which then I revised and rebranded as “JavaScript Course”, and later dismissed.

I have a free handbook on JavaScript, and an add-on handbook on TypeScript (btw, [download them here](https://flaviocopes.com/access/)), which you should read after the JavaScript handbook, but I never had a resource to learn TypeScript right from the start.

I only assumed you first learned JavaScript, and then TS on top of it.

But I think many people are coming to the Web Development landscape and they don’t want to learn JavaScript, just TypeScript.

Even though TypeScript is 95% “just JavaScript”, I created this course as if the JavaScript “core” was TypeScript’s core.
