Waking up (not so) early
It’s quite common to read, on the Internet, about people waking up early.
VEEEEERY EARLY.
6AM. 5AM. 4AM!
I’m sure you’ve seen this kind of “hustle p*rn” show being put on. Sometimes they are “motivators”. Sometimes it’s just people trying to play the part of the hustler, the one that’s putting in the work to get to their goals.
When they talk It seems like they figured it all out.
I can’t wake up early. I literally can’t.
I can’t function correctly as a human if I wake up too early.
Yes maybe the morning I get something done, but then I have to sleep in the afternoon otherwise I’m like a zombie.
I wake up at 7.30AM or 8AM and I’m not ashamed.
I promise you I get things done even if I wake up that late (lol).
And there is just a finite set of hours I can work until my mind is done.
I do my best work in the morning, and my best thinking when the sun is over and the night starts. Or when I’m taking a walk or a shower.
That’s just me.
Maybe it’s you, too. I just want to say that you don’t have to compare to those people. If they act like they the only ones doing it, let them believe so.
No shame in sleeping a little bit more.
