What’s coming next

Hi folks! It’s been a while since my last communication about courses, so I wanted to share an update about what I’ve been up to and what’s coming next in terms of educational content.

I don’t typically make long term plans, but for 2025 I’m trying something new, actually planning the next moves. They said it works better.

As many of you know, I’m currently deep in the trenches with my yearly Bootcamp, which has been my main focus for the past couple of months.

We’re at its 6th edition this year. The Bootcamp is my main offering, my “flagship course”, and takes a good chunk of the year to properly organize and run this fantastic course focused on teaching you modern Web Development from scratch.

Despite being busy with the bootcamp, I can’t help but think ahead of me, and I’ve been actively planning the next phase of my educational offerings.

The first courses you can expect are the Solopreneur Masterclass and the AHA Stack Masterclass. These two have been highly requested, and I’m excited to bring them to you.

Let’s talk about the first one.

May: Solopreneur Masterclass

For those of you interested in the business side of things, the Solopreneur Masterclass will be your guide to building and running a successful solo Internet business.

This course is for those of you who want to create something on their own, and run it on their own forever.

I’m not interested in having a boss, and I’m not interesting in being a boss. Or having people collaborate with me who then will influence all the decisions I make on my business because they now depend on me. Or I depend on them. Not interested.

What I’m interested in is, finding a tiny business I can run on my own, create my own little corner shop on the Internet, and happily run it. Creating something, a digital product, and having customers come buy it.

I did it, I’m “living the dream”. This is my dream, warn you. If you have higher ambitions, create a big company, hire people, get VC money, and all that, definitely stay away from this course.

I don’t want to be the “guru” teaching, I’m just sharing what I learned, and the principles I try to adhere to while doing my thing, principles I’ve proven to be true.

Drawing from my 15+ years of experience, we’ll cover everything from identifying opportunities to scaling sustainably, with a strong focus on practical, actionable strategies.

I’ve already ran this course as a cohort course 3 times in the past, but this time I’m rebranding it as a self-serve course, so instead of running cohorts, I’ll release it as a “definitive edition”.

So, this was the Solopreneur Masterclass, the first course I’ll release. I plan to put it out there on May 27th.

June: AHA Stack Masterclass

Let’s dive into the second course, the AHA Stack Masterclass.

The AHA Stack Masterclass will be particularly interesting - it’s based on what I consider one of the most productive and easy-to-use JavaScript stacks, combining Astro, HTMX, and Alpine.js. We’ll build a complete, production-ready web application, including data handling and authentication with PocketBase. If you’re tired of complex JavaScript frameworks and looking for a more straightforward approach to building modern web applications, this course is for you.

For those of you that did the 2024 Bootcamp last year, this sounds familiar - yes, that’s the app we built in the Bootcamp last year. I’ll repackage it as a “Masterclass”, non-cohort course format, because it’s too good to be let it dust. The Bootcamp this year changed to other topics (including Astro, React, Next.js) but the “AHA Stack” (term invented by yours truly) is still dear to me.

This is planned for June 24th.

September: AI for Developers Masterclass

The third course I’m planning is going to launch on Sep 2nd, it’s something brand new, I’m calling it “AI for Developers Masterclass”.

AI is such a great force multiplier for me. I can be a lot more productive than ever, even tho I have over 20 years of experience as a software developer, AI is a game changer.

I know many people are still on the fence, or struggle to utilize AI effectively. Many fear it and struggle to give it a real go. Or just can’t figure out what they should use among the sea of options and are stuck.

In this hands-on masterclass I’ll teach you, with my usual 80/20 approach, all the concepts, hands-on practice, the tools, and the methodologies you will need to navigate this “new world” and be much more productive (and competitive, relevant in the industry!) as a developer.

This is not a course on “using an AI model in your app” or “building agents” or anything like that. There’s plenty of those already and everyone who hasn’t built one is creating one right now.

I’ll be highly practical and focus on “using the AI tools”.

More stuff coming next

After that, I’ll launch a few more courses this year. Dates are still unplanned for those courses, but you can help me prioritize their release date by signaling me your interest joining the waiting lists at https://flaviocopes.com/courses/

Two of them will be brand new topics for me, although I’ve been thinking about creating them for a long time. I wrote extensively about those topics on my blog, but never made a complete resource.

The first one is macOS Masterclass. I’ve been using a Mac since 2005 and to celebrate the 20th year I’ll create the perfect resource for beginners to the Apple computers operating system.

The second is Notion Masterclass. I’m a heavy Notion user. It’s such a good tool. Notion is not just about “productivity” or “templates” or “second brain”, I can’t stand those kind of things people often associate with Notion. The course will be focused on using Notion effectively.

I have plans for other courses “unbundled” from the Bootcamp.

The Bootcamp is such a huge course that I can extract multiple courses from it, and those will be perfect for those of you who are not into joining a multiple months long cohort course, but still want to learn a specific technology:

  1. the JavaScript/TypeScript Masterclass will help you master modern JavaScript development
  2. the React Masterclass will focus on building performant SPA-style applications with React 19 and Vite
  3. the Astro Masterclass will teach you how to create lightning-fast websites using this incredible framework
  4. the Next.js Masterclass will teach you all the good stuff Next.js gives us to power websites and web applications
  5. the SQL Databases Masterclass will be focused on building data-driven applications with TypeScript.

That’s the plan.

Of course in February 2026 we’ll start another edition of the Bootcamp.

I know many of you are eager to join these courses, and I appreciate your patience while I focus on delivering the best possible content.

If you want to stay updated on course releases and get access to launch discounts, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter.

All of those courses will be “evergreen”, they will have a launch discount, but then they’ll always be available to purchase, like my Git Masterclass.

Join my email list and I’ll keep you posted as we get closer to each launch date.
