Content-Type Parser
Paste one Content-Type value. The page splits the type, the subtype, and each parameter. The rules are the ones in RFC 9110.
The header never leaves the browser. Nothing is uploaded, and the header is not stored in the URL.
Copy uses the canonical line. The summary lists every parameter above it.

About this tool
A media type is a type, a slash, and a subtype, then zero or more parameters.text/html; charset=utf-8 is a type of text, a subtype ofhtml, and one parameter. Names are case-insensitive. The page prints them in lowercase and keeps the original parameter order.
A parameter value is a token or a quoted string. Inside quotes, a backslash escapes the next octet, and the quotes come off when the value is shown. Whitespace around= is a syntax error in HTTP. A trailing semicolon is an empty parameter and is ignored. MIME comments in parentheses are not part of the HTTP grammar, so a parenthesis is rejected.
This reads one header value. It does not look up a file extension. That table is theMIME type lookup. A form body inapplication/x-www-form-urlencoded is a different job, and theform converter does that one.
