Versions
1.3.1
November 5, 2026
- Typing a URL no longer starts a recording halfway through, as soon as the address happens to be valid. A pasted or dropped link still starts right away. A typed one starts when you press Return or click the new Record button.
- While a recording catches up to the live edge, the status shows the captured and elapsed time on one line and the download progress on the next, instead of cutting it off.
- The URL field and its clear button have VoiceOver labels, and decorative icons are hidden from VoiceOver.
1.3.0

- New bundle identifier. Broadcast Keep is now
com.flaviocopes.broadcast-keep, instead of the placeholdercom.example.StreamRecorderit shipped with. Your settings move over the first time you open 1.3.0. macOS may ask again for the permissions you gave the app before.
1.2.0

- Automatic updates. The license key from your purchase now turns on automatic updates: enter it in Broadcast Keep → License…, or when Broadcast Keep → Check for Updates… asks for it. Broadcast Keep works without a key, as before. A key works on 3 Macs, and License… → Deactivate This Mac frees one.
